sample idea

Just wanted to share another quick idea for the rectangular templates. Here is a layout I made using one of the templates from set 5. I simply removed the flourish and then placed the template onto a 12x12 background to create a square page. This would be easy to do with most of my rectangular templates so they can be used by square scrappers as well. :) This layout also uses my Spring Chick kit available at www.kbandfriends.com.

So cute a layout. I was by the other day & meant to leave a few words but my grandchildren showed up & that took care of that in a hurry. So nice for you to show the 12x12 scrapper how to adjust a letter-size template. It is much easier to go from square to rectangular shapes. I bypass most 12xx12 now because I can find more of the size I need. But I do have some layouts that are fabulous in the larger size, so I use pse to reduce the size down to 8.5 sq & then place it into the correct size. I then move the designs around to take care of the extra space after filling the template with the bottom bg to lengthen the paper. So thanks for sharing your wonderful designs. It is ironic because I had purchased your templates before I ever found your blog. I was a member of KB's scrapping group @ her prior site. I have quite a few of her kits also. They are filled with such fun objects that adds whimsy to your layouts. Keep up the good work with your designs. HUGS!!
